You can hear Old School Death Metal of the best school, in the dirtiest blue-yellow. Swedish reefs with Swedish sound are celebrated, ie low-tuned guitars, which celebrate hard-talking riffs, scary Uffta drums, which plows furiously over the stubble field as hard as crushing rocks crumbles to sand. The interplay of mercilessly whipping beats, doublebass attacks and a massive dragging tank groove is held together by guitars and vocals. In addition to the heavy riffs, it is above all the concisely inserted and distinctly prominent guitar melodies that ride in a strongly pressed, quacky, howling, reverberating lamentation on the narrow ridge of dissonance and melancholy. And to join Mr. Tüchter with a dark voice that growls brutal mostly, but also repeatedly changed into a diabolical recitation.

Conclusion: SKIN HER ALIVE offer nothing new, but so unused, playful, brutal and massive, that it is a true Death Metal splendor.

Zu hören gibt es Old School Death Metal der besten Schule, in schmutzigstem Blau-Gelb. Zelebriert werden Schwedenriffs mit Schwedensound, also tief gestimmte Gitarren, die sägend harte Riffs zelebrieren, krawalliges Uffta-Schlagzeug, das ebenso wütend über das Stoppelfeld pflügt wie schwer stampfend Felsen zu Sand zermalmt. Das Wechselspiel aus gnadenlos peitschenden Beats, Doublebass-Attacken und massiv schleifendem Panzergroove wird zusammengehalten von Gitarren und Gesang. Neben den schweren Riffs sind es dabei vor allem die prägnant eingesetzten und deutlich hervorstechenden Gitarrenmelodien, die in einem stark gepressten, quäkigen, jaulenden, verhallten Lamentieren todesmutig auf dem schmalen Graten von Dissonanz und Melancholie reiten. Und dazu gesellt sich Herr Tüchter mit einer dunklen Stimme, die zumeist brutal growlt, aber auch immer wieder in ein diabolisches Rezitieren wechselt.

Fazit: SKIN HER ALIVE bieten nichts Neues, aber das so unverbraucht, spielfreudig, brutal und massiv, dass es eine wahre Death Metal Pracht ist. Das ist roh, unbehauen und einfach nur – Großartig! Und nun ran und eine Platte zusammengebolzt!
